The International Beauty Show is a prestigious event held annually in New York City, bringing together beauty and spa professionals from all over the world. The event, along with the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference, was held this past weekend at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Presented by American Salon and American Spa magazines, this convention is the longest running professionals only beauty show in the nation. The show seeks to educate and provide opportunities for beauty professionals. This year there were over 500 exhibitors showcasing their skills and products and we were honored to attend and check out what is trending in the beauty world.
Among the exhibitors were top brands such as Redken, Essie, Brazilian Blowout, Clarisonic, Eve Pearl and many other notables. The convention center was a swarm of both men and women learning about new products, purchasing the best of the best and getting glammed up. Additionally, many brands used the show to showcase their latest products! Magic Sleek introduced its new hair straightening technology, that surpasses Kertain, Brazilian and Japanese treatments with safer and longer lasting results, minus the use of harsh chemicals. Enzo Milano introduced the Onadiva, a new hair tool that allows you to create beautiful waves, as well as curls with its ceramic plates. In addition to new products, the show hosted a number of high profile speakers including Ted Gibson, Nick Arrojo, Kelly Cardenas, and many more.
While in attendance, we got our hands on some of the amazing products on display. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to hear our thoughts!
