Renowned sparkling wine Chandon just kicked off the ‘American Summer’ with the launch of their third limited edition bottle. Partnering up with equally iconic designer Jonathan Adler, the company released two exclusive items that are only available during Summer 2014.
The picture in question refers to Adler’s design of a tray based off the limited edition bottle, which toasts to the spirit of the classic American summer. Playing off of the bottle, Adler created an acrylic tray to match, which, of course, is red, white and blue, as well as interlocking anchors. “I love irreverent, colorful design and Chandon shares that spirit of vibrant energy,” said Jonathan Adler. “The American Summer bottle is clean and crisp with a dash of preppy nauticalia that is always alluring. The tray I designed is perfect for outdoor entertaining; inviting friends over for an afternoon of bubbly and recreating the glamour of your favorite Slim Aarons’ photograph.” The beachy feel of the new bottle will make sipping bubbly that much more fun this summer.
The collaborative effort was celebrated in New York City last week with a fun rooftop party, complete with Chandon cocktails, music, photo booth fun and passed hors d’oeuvres. Guests sipped down the Chandon mini bottles, which will retail for $8 and were able to check out the regular size bottles behind the bar, which will retail for $22-24. Whether you are looking for the perfect accompaniment to a beach day, picnic, lakeside evening or rooftop revelry, Chandon’s summer bottle will get you in the mood for summer debauchery.
