Everyone knows Juice Press for their amazing cold pressed juices (Doctor Green Juice is my favorite). But now that’s not all you’re going to know them for. Earlier this week they launched soft serve ice cream at their Fort Greene location, inside of Whole Foods 365. After over two years of working on formulating the perfect soft serve, it’s finally here.
And let me tell you – this organic, plant-based soft serve is BOMB. Comprised of superfoods, with no added sugars or dairy, it’s shocking to me how creamy and delicious the finished product is. Right now they are serving up two flavors, chocolate and fountain of youth. Peep the ingredients to see for yourself how healthy these ice creams really are:
Chocolate: water, coconut milk, cashew milk, baobab, sunflower lecithin, coconut sugar, cacao powder, inulin, sea salt, date, chocolate, vanilla extract
Fountain of Youth: water, baobab, kudzu, arrowroot, inulin, cacao, date, coconut nectar, blueberry, strawberry, acai, GLO juice, banana
My favorite was the fountain of youth flavor, but they’re both delicious and you can top them up with a variety of toppings, or enjoy them together in a swirl.
Right now, they can only be found at the Brooklyn location, but will hopefully soon come to more locations around the city. But it’s definitely worth a trip to Brooklyn!
