Brought to you by Lee Tilghman of Indie Fork, Samantha Chin of Myriad Restaurant Group, Scarlett Stack of Brandsway Creative and Alexandra Machover of Spur of the Moments comes a new collective that aims to bring together and educate motivated women with an emphasis on social media. The collective, called Hashbrowns and Hashtags, brings in successful speakers to entertain attendees over brunch. The latest pop-up brunch took place this past weekend at Chalk Point Kitchen.

The brunch had women fighting over the food, with tasty options like Smashed Avocado Toast, Nutella Banana and Justin’s Peanut Butter on Toast, and Avocado Hash as some of the standouts. The all you can eat, all you can drink brunch didn’t stop there — four outstanding women entrepreneurs from New York City participated in a panel discussion. Marlo Scott of Sweet Revenge, Cyndi Ramirez of Taste the Style, Stefanie Skinner of Socially Acclaimed and Bevy Smith of Bravo TV spoke to the crowd about getting started in business, forging connections, and advice on being your own boss.

Not only did Chalk Point Kitchen provide a great backdrop and delicious food, but every woman left brunch with both their bellies and brains full. A great concept, Hashbrowns and Hashtags is a great way to forge connections, gain knowledge and reinforce girl power. Oh, and eat great food. Make sure to be on the lookout for the next event!
