A Cold Snack for Hot Days: Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites

Both chocolate-y and chilled, banana peanut butter bites are easy-to-make treats and a great way to stay cool in the New York summer heat. Whether you are looking for a finger food dessert to serve at a party or a light, healthy snack to enjoy at home, these goodies are sure to please. Set aside at least three hours to complete these snacks using the recipe below:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites

  • Cut up an even amount of medium ripe banana slices and spread peanut butter on half of the slices. Proceed to top them with the other half of slices.

Half Banana

  • Place these onto a baking sheet and into the freezer for one hour.
  • Remove them from freezer & cover them in melted chocolate (Dark chocolate is highly suggested).
  • Let them chill in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
  • Eat and enjoy!
