The best of both worlds collide to create the perfect sweet snack that comes from French brand Michel et Augustin. Founded in 2004 by friends Augustin Paluel-Marmont and Michel de Rovira, the popular pastry company is now renowned in France. Their snacks, which are best described as a shortbread cookie meets chocolate bar, are as addictive as they are delicious, and are quickly gaining steam in the Americas since they expanded here five years ago.
Their Cookie Squares come in a variety of flavors, including triple chocolate, dark chocolate and a pinch of sea salt, chocolate and toasted hazelnuts, and our favorite, milk chocolate and melty caramel.
They recently introduced Croissant Chips into their product line, and yes, they are likely as decadent as they sound and filled with butter. But who doesn’t want to be able to pop a bite of croissant into their mouth during work? Michel et Augustin has numerous more products over in France, like crackers, juices, yogurt drinks and chocolate mousse. Hopefully they will add those to the US market soon!
