Last week we traveled the world without ever leaving Manhattan. Cityzen by Azin just held their holiday launch, featuring the most amazing and creative dresses, bags and scarves. This luxury fashion brand, founded by Azin Valy, was inspired by views of cities from above, while Valy was doing research for an exhibit at the MoMA. The collection incorporates satellite imagery of major world cities on silks, satins and leather, culminating in gorgeous fashion pieces. Each item in the collection promotes various points of interest within the city it showcases, including arts, architecture, food, literature, film and music, as well as a charity.
Last week’s launch party was hosted by renowned artist, filmmaker and Cityzen muse Shirin Neshat. The evening allowed guests to travel through the collection, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and drinks provided by Macao Trading Company.
This collection is unlike any other we’ve seen — bringing together culture, art, and fashion in a new and unique way. The brand’s goal is to connect the world one city at a time. The collection includes beautiful dresses of all lengths and styles, kaftans, stunning scarves, and intriguing bags. Each and every item is a statement piece, drawing all eyes to its standout colors and intricate details. Honestly, we want every piece in this collection.
