Kevin Chan, Iman Johnson, Kent Mori, and Shuo Yang—four friends who were fed up with settling for shirts that just didn’t fit started a revolutionary new shirt collection and they brought it to Kickstarter. ASPECD (pronounced aspect) is a unique men’s shirt line that is designed to custom fit your body.
After a year of prototyping and testing, they came up with a simple solution. They proposed to offer more sizes and free alterations. They wanted to eliminate some of the complications when purchasing button-up shirts. ASPECD started with the “extra small to extra large” shirts everyone knows and then created an additional four sizes to help guys who fall in between the standard sizes. Combined with a free alteration service to fine tune shirts for different heights and waists, the ASPECD system addresses the most expressed fit complaints of men without sacrificing convenience and style.
