B Michael America Couture showed during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week last week and we were thrilled to attend. This had to be my favorite show that I attended over the course of New York Fashion Week. While most designers have some hits and misses, B Michael America was all hits during this runway show. The collection was all about modern impressionism — inspired by a trip to Giverny by B Michael. The collection features an array of clothing for all different occasions, as well as looks for both men and women. The men’s suits are new, fun and whimsical…looks that could all be seen on the fashionable Chuck Bass. The womenswear is both classic and chic. A strong, empowered woman can definitely be seen in these clothes. We especially loved the doublemint moment, when twins walked in tandem down the runway in stellar cocktail dresses. Closing the show was famed model Lu, who put on quite the show. Also in attendance were big names like Cuba Gooding Jr. and Cicely Tyson.
