Just like peanut butter and jelly and salt and pepper, some things are just made to go together. Laughter and beer are no exception and with the introduction of BeerProv to New York City, things just got way funnier…and boozier. BeerProv, which began in Toronto, Canada back in 2010, recently made its way to the Big Apple after being hailed as one of Canada’s most uniquely hilarious live comedy shows. The show dishes out plenty of beers and plenty of laughs, as one would imagine, in a unique Survivor meets Whose Line Is It Anyway format. BeerProv, created by Jim Robinson, hosts a rotating cast of comedians whose job is to improvise goofy scenes based upon audience suggestions. During the show, the comedians are eliminated one by one by audience vote until only one comedian remains. The winner is then crowned as the BeerProv Champion and is given the extreme honor of drinking from the BeerProv Mug of Champions (now that’s a good prize!). 
The next show takes place on June 13th at 8pm at Webster Hall. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
