“Work hard, play hard” is not only the mantra of New Yorkers, but it’s also the theme of Canada-based Filthy Haanzs new Resort ’16 collection. Under the creative direction of Wilber Tellez, the collection is geared towards trendsetting young professionals. Celebrating the launch of its Resort 2016 collection, Filthy HAANZ took the party to New York City and no surprise — the Bowery.

Held at a posh art gallery, guests enjoyed drinks sponsored by Peroni Beer and music by New York City DJ Austin Millz. The guest list was impressive — fashion insiders, editors, stylists and social media fanatics were all invited to join in the celebration and launch. Filthy Haanz highlighted the relationship between art and fashion. The fashion presentation featured photography from the latest collection. With the bold use of prints, exquisite detailing and unique textures, the photography exhibit showcased the art deco theme seen throughout the collection. Featuring looks for men and women, the latest collection features yellow, green, black and gold pieces that can only be described as sometimes over the top, yet chic, with a touch of glam.

Celebrating creation and life, Filthy Hannz uses the handprint to represent individual expression. The brand focuses on the human body to create the beauty of the clothing, just as clothing many times creates the beauty of the body. If you’re going to work hard and play hard, you might as well look good while doing it.

Twisted Talk: What do you think of some of these looks from the collection? Would you rock Filthy Haanz on your next vacation? Discuss below!
