Cocktail and wine lovers in New York City celebrate their favorite bars, spirits, and vinos each year during Brooklyn Exposed‘s Brooklyn Shaken & Stirred. The event is well-known for bringing together tons of people to celebrate our beloved booze. This year’s event will take place in Carroll Gardens on October 8th at The Green Building from 6-9pm.
Six of the borough’s hottest bars will be in attendance, crafting a specialty cocktail for the event. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite cocktail and the winner will receive great promotions on Brooklyn Exposed. Participating bars included Hawker Bar, Huckleberry Bar, Hunter’s, Loconda Vini e Olii, Tooker Alley and Vodou Bar. Additionally, guests can sample libations from local brands such as Avua Cachaca, Brooklyn Gin, Cacao Prieto, Four Roses, Owney’s Rum, Templeton Rye, and many more. Food will also be available at the event from more Brooklyn-centric spots such as Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Chocolate Room, Fort Reno, and Bushwick Kitchen, to name a few. Guests will enjoy live music from Brooklyn’s own DJ Nutritious. Tickets are $55 and can be purchased here.
