Last weekend, Manhattan with a Twist headed to Greenwich, Connecticut to attend RAND Luxury‘s British Luxury Brunch. The event, held at a private Greenwich estate, showcased some fine sets of wheels, including Bentley, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and McLaren, thanks in part to Miller Motorcars. After a golf cart escort up the long driveway and a longing look at the high-priced sports cars, we walked through the immaculately staged estate and into the backyard, where, along with all the other guests, we enjoyed food, champagne and spirits, along with the gorgeous weather.
Sponsoring brands set up stations for guests to peruse, including Alec Bradley Cigars, Glenfiddich Scotch, Macaron Bites, New York Prime Beef, Honda Aircraft Company, and many more. Also on site was a silent auction to benefit the Greenwich Hospital Foundation “Under the Stars,” with fine items like Hamilton tickets, Derek Jeter memorabilia, jewelry, and much more. Plus, presenting sponsor Greenwich Magazine had a presence with their glossies strewn about the tabletops.
Other notable attendees included Avril Graham (Executive Fashion & Beauty Editor of Harpers Bazaar), Bradford Rand, Trish Kirsch (Publisher of Greenwich Magazine) and Jonathon Moffly (President of Moffly Media), among others.
The day couldn’t have been better — beautiful, sunny weather, friendly guests, fine drinks and eats, and oh yeah, the hottest cars around. The only thing that would’ve beat it would be if we could leave for home with a set of car keys!
