Two of the most iconic alcohol brands in American have teamed up to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition. Budweiser and Jim Beam are bringing you the Budweiser Reserve Copper Lager, brewed with two-row barley and aged on Jim Beam bourbon barrel staves. The aging process gives the beer some of the wonderful flavors of bourbon without the burn.
The new specialty beer is now available in heritage glass bottles, as well as on draught at bars across the country.
To celebrate, we joined Budweiser Brewmaster Pete Kraemer and Jim Beam’s seventh generation Master Distiller Fred Noe at The Campbell for a speakeasy-style party. Here, we learned all about the collaboration between the two brands, the brewing process, and of course, enjoyed plenty of beers.
I’m totally obsessed with this new release from Budweiser and it’s definitely going to be my go-to beer to sip by the fireplace this winter!
