Campari sure knows how to throw a party. One of the best parties thrown during this year’s Manhattan Cocktail Classic, Campari’s Bartender Bash threw down! The event obviously was overflowing with cocktails, beginning when party-goers were waiting for the elevator and received cans of Negroni Sbagliatos, and continuing with bartenders shaking up specialty cocktails at the two bars at Gallow Green all night long. The space itself had attendees in awe, with a 1920s vibe, old train cars where you could try your hand at a game of cards, and an intimate feel in a rather large space, making guests feel right at home. But alas, they were not at home, they had stumbled into the faux wedding of the founder’s son, Davide Campari, and opera singer Lina Cavalieri. Cocktail celeb Gaz Regan officiated the wedding in style and told the tale of the unparalleled love between the two lovebirds. Supermodel Chrissy Teigen was the maid of honor and the crowd went wild during the ceremony. DJ Kiss played amazing beats all night long, making those at the party dance until they sweat Campari. What did we take away from this one-of-a-kind bash? Canned cocktails are the shit. Gaz Regan is hilarious. We wish the Cocktail Classic wasn’t just once a year (although our liver is thankful).
