With Cinco de Mayo right around the corner, it’s time to make plans for a night full of margaritas, tacos, and pork dishes! This day of celebration is exciting for New Yorkers because, well, it’s just another excuse to drink tequila and eat Mexican food. With so many celebrations going on, we’ve cut to the chase and discovered the best of the best so that you don’t have to!

Favela Cubana, a Greenwich Village hot spot that serves some of the best empeñadas will be serving two for $10 margaritas and $20 buckets of beer. Open from 11am-11pm, this will be a great all day destination.

Tres Carnes will be serving up their 16 hour smoked brisket tacos and their fresh white peach sangria by Chef Sasha Shor. This will surely be a delight for your Cinco De Mayo!

Café Frida, on the Upper West Side, will offer hibiscus margaritas and agave cocktails along with some fun and decadent specials. If you want to bar hop and check out another UWS spot, also try El Mitote, for their fabulous margaritas and Cinco De Mayo fun!

Bounce Sporting Club will be holding their third annual Mustache Party Cinco de Mayo on May 4th, beginning at 3pm. The party will include $5 Coronas, El Presidente and margaritas, as well at bottles of Don Julio Blanco for $250. Tommacari will be playing authentic music for you to dance to and complimentary mustaches and giveaways will have you screaming fiesta!
