Happy Martini Week everyone! This year marks the 5th annual Martini Week in New York City, which runs from today, March 14th through March 31st. Earlier this week Thrillist threw a kickoff event in preparation of Martini Week at Hudson Terrace, where guests were able to sample martinis from Thrillist’s favorite bars and restaurants. Throughout the evening attendees were able to vote on their favorite martini and ultimately David Burke Bloomingdale’s was named the winner for their ‘Not Your Mother’s Cosmo’ martini. The winning cocktail was comprised of Grey Goose, cranberry grape juice, lime, simple syrup and a bacon fig garnish. The party was a success with delicious hors d’oeuvres being passed around, as well as top tunes from DJ L. There were also chances to win some amazing prizes during the evening.
Throughout Martini Week, over 20 of Thrillist’s favorite bars and restaurants will be offering special promotions on martinis. Check out all of the participating venues here and even create your own Martini Map for non-stop boozing. We know we’ll celebrate with a martini or two, will you?
