As some of you may know, I’ve been training for the NYC Half Marathon. It’s been a grueling process and what I’ve discovered is that nutrition is more important than ever. Logging so many miles each week burns a lot of calories and with it, some muscle depletes. Loading up on protein is super important. I regularly drink protein shakes, but often times whey protein makes me break out. I recently discovered Naked Nutrition, which is one of the leading protein and supplement companies worldwide. They not only supply whey protein, but also produce everything from pea protein to organic brown rice protein.
One of the things I love about this company is that they have something for everybody. They offer grass-fed whey protein, micellar casein protein, weight gainer protein, pea protein, organic brown rice protein, goat whey protein, and egg white protein powders — all of which are great for baking or shakes and come in different flavors. They also produce powdered peanut butter (and powdered chocolate peanut butter), which contains no added sugar, salt or artificial colors or sweeteners. It’s one of my favorite products because it adds so much flavor to whatever you’re making, without the fat and oil of peanut butter.
They also offer protein cereals and an array of supplements, like BCAAs, glutamine, pre-workout, and creatine monohydrate. I love that this company is all about pure products, not adding in anything extra you don’t need. They’re tasty and help me on my fitness journey.
