It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to honor one of the top male models in history with an exclusive party thrown by one of the best cognacs around. Courvoisier‘s Exceptional Journey campaign kicked off its launch last week at The Skylark, where it honored the world’s first black supermodel and actor Tyson Beckford. The campaign seeks to celebrate the unique path it takes to achieve excellence, not just the success itself, but the entire journey on the way there. Courvoisier cognac house will be honoring those who have embarked on their own journey and pays homage to the brand itself.
The party hosted a slew of VIP guests, including Jenny McCarthy, Melissa Gorga, Vashtie Kola, Naturel, and Beckford’s girlfriend and model Shanina Shaik. Beckford, the inaugural honoree, accepted his award from Bravo’s Chef Roble, who is also a part of the Exceptional Journey campaign notables. Throughout the evening, guests were treated to signature Courvoisier cocktails, including Napoleon’s Golden Bee, Bon Voyage and Road Less Traveled, all while enjoying passed bites.
