With the arrival of Fall comes many things…fall foliage, Halloween, pumpkins, cool weather, and of course, apple picking. While many people overlook apples this season in lieu of pumpkin flavored everything, let’s remember that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. So while you may be pondering away on what to make with all the apples you’ve surely picked, make sure to keep in mind something boozy to go along with that apple pie. That’s right, apple is just as delicious in liquid form and we’ve got the cocktails to prove it!
Pinnacle Sunset Tea (Courtesy of Pinnacle Vodka)
3 parts Pinnacle CranApple Vodka
2 parts Iced Tea
1 part Orange Juice
Pour over ice, shake and pour into a tall glass. Garnish with an orange slice or apple spear dipped in cinnamon.
Cider Tequila Hot Toddy (Courtesy of Sauza Tequila)
1 part Sauza Blue Reposado 100% Agave Tequila
½ part JDK & Sons O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
8 parts apple cider
2 parts cranberry juice cocktail
Lime slice (for garnish)
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Dash of nutmeg (optional)
In a saucepan heat the apple cider and cranberry juice just until steaming hot (do not let the liquid boil) and remove it from the heat. Stir in Sauza Blue Reposado and liqueur. You can add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg if you want a bit more spice. Serve Hot Toddies in mugs, garnished with lime slices.

1 ½ parts Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka
¾ part apple juice
¼ part agave syrup
Green apple slice for garnish
Stir agave syrup with vodka in the base of a shaker until the agave syrup dissolves. Add apple juice and shake thoroughly with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a green apple slice.

1/2 oz maple syrup
4 oz pumpkin beer
4 oz cider
Rim glass with syrup and then crushed candied walnuts, pour ingredients into glass over ice, stir.

2.25 ounces Milagro Reposado
1 ounce fresh squeezed green apple juice
.5 ounces fresh squeezed Washington Red apple juice
.25 ounces grenadine
.5 ounces cinnamon simple syrup
Shake all ingredients with ice and pour over ice. Garnish with an apple slice.

50 ml Tullamore D.E.W. original
Pressed Apple Juice
Lemon wedge
Optional twist: In the winter months, try adding a dash of Angostura bitters for a hint of warm apple-pie spice notes. Pour into a tall ice-filled glass add the Tullamore D.E.W. Top up with pressed apple juice. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

4 oz. Appleton Estate V/X
2 oz. Apple Cider
1 oz. Maple Syrup
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and stir well. Pour into Collins glass and garnish with slice of lemon.
Rusty Apple Toddy (Courtesy of Drambuie)
3 parts apple juice
1 part DRAMBUIE Scotch Liqueur
Juice from a lemon wedge (e.g. a quarter of a lemon)
Garnish with cinnamon stick
Heat the apple juice. Next, pour DRAMBUIE into a teacup or handled latte glass, then add heated apple juice and squeeze in the juice of the 1 lemon wedge. Garnish with a fresh cinnamon stick.

1.5 oz. Ketel One
0.75 pressed apple cider
0.75 oz. cinnamon infused simple syrup
0.5 oz. lime juice
3 dashes angostura bitters
top with ginger beer
garnish: candied ginger
Build in shaker all ingredients except for ginger beer. Add ice, shake well and top with ginger beer. Swirl and strain in a glass over fresh ice and garnish with candied ginger.

1 oz. Tito’s vodka
1 oz. apple liqueur
1/4 oz. helping caraway liqueur
1 oz. cucumber juice
1 egg white
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously for 30 seconds and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.

1/2 oz absinthe
1/2 oz lime juice
4 oz cider
Mix ingredients and garnish with fresh thyme and lime.

100 grams (3 spoons of chopped cucumber)
½ peeled kiwi fruit
2 oz. Zubrowka Bison Grass vodka
2 bar spoons white sugar syrup
Add ice cubes, top up with 2 oz. of fresh apple juice, shake, pour into the glass (including the ice).

1 oz Camarena Silver Tequila
2 1/2 oz Apple Juice
1/4 oz Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Maraschino Cherry Garnish
Combine liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

1 1/2 ounces Shellback Spiced Rum
1 ounce Cinnamon Simple Syrup
2 ounce Unfiltered Apple Juice
1 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
Chilled Ginger Beer
Lemon Spirals and Apple Slices for Garnish
In a mixing glass add Shellback Spiced Rum, cinnamon syrup cloudy apple juice and fresh lemon juice; shake with ice until well blended. Strain into an ice filled Collins glass. Top with chilled ginger beer, stir to mix and garnish with lemon spirals and apple slices.

2 oz Tuaca
Hot apple cider
Whipped cream
Cinnamon stick for garnish
Pour the Tuaca in an Irish coffee glass. Fill with hot apple cider. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
