Tons of activities made up this year’s New York Fashion Week, and amidst all of the runway shows and parties are equally enviable pop-up shops displaying the latest fashions for you to shop. Earlier this week was the Adriana Marie Co “Fashion with a Purpose” pop-up, which brought together local designers, entrepreneurs and creatives to showcase their designs.
Adriana Marie Co (AMco) is an adorable vintage-inspired women’s fashion brand, based out of New York City. Founded by Adriana Marie, the brand focuses on a positive lifestyle, with inspirational and positive sayings printed on many of their shirts. The apparel is incredibly soft and comfortable, making it easy and effortless to wear…not to mention, affordable!
Also at the pop-up was stunning jewelry from Irini Design. The company, which began as a hobby, has produced some really glamorous pieces, made from the finest materials, including 18k gold, sterling silver, diamonds, pearls and more.
Additionally, mixed media artist Ben Moon, who was selected by the New York car collector Frank Marzano to paint a 1985 Rolls Royce Silver Spur, was at the pop-up showcasing the immaculate car. The car, dubbed “Our Painted Lady,” went with the theme of the pop-up, since it will be auctioned at Charitybuzz in December, with 100% of proceeds going to charity. The artist adorned the Rolls Royce with his signature black and white intricate designs, creating not only a beautiful work of art, but one hell of a car to drive!
