Fin-spiring Cocktails for Shark Week

With so many Shark Week drinking games out there, it’s only fitting that there be enough shark-themed cocktails to get you through it. From the depths of the ocean to the shallows of the sea, we’ve found some of the most tasty ‘tails that are sure to send you into a frenzy. Whip up some of the cocktails below, turn on Discovery, and get ready for the best week of the summer.

Shark Attack

2 parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
3 parts ruby red grapefruit juice
1 part DeKuyper Mixologist Series Blood Orange Liqueur
Orange slice (for garnish)

Build in order over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy.

The Shark Fin

The Shark Fin (Courtesy of Sauza Tequila)
2 parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
1 part DeKuyper Mixologist Series Blood Orange Liqueur
2 parts fresh lemon sour
Juice of one whole lime
Lemon wedge (for garnish)

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice in a glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Shark Bite Sipper

1 ½ parts Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka
½ part Vermouth
½ part Olive Juice
Olives for garnish

Shake all ingredients, including the olives for garnish, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Shark Attack WITH SKULL

2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
5 oz. Clamato (Caesar) or tomato juice (Bloody Mary)
dash of Worcestershire sauce
dash of hot sauce
tiny dash of liquid smoke
garnish of your choice
*1⁄4 tsp. salt
*1⁄4 tsp. pepper
*1⁄2 tsp. smoked paprika

Rub the rim of the glass with a lemon wedge and dip into salt, pepper and smoked paprika mix*. In a shaker half filled with ice, add all ingredients and shake well. Strain into the pre rimmed glass filled with ice.

Shark Sky

1½ oz. Casa Noble Crystal
½ oz. Blue Curaçao
1 oz. Coconut Rum

Pour ingredients into iced mixing glass, shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
