New York City foodies and philanthropists have something big to look forward to. City Harvest, an organization dedicated to feeding New York’s hungry, is hosting their annual Summer in the City benefit on June 19th from 7:30-10pm. The event will bring together over 30 of New York City’s best restaurants and chefs, along with wine, specialty cocktails, incredible entertainment and a silent auction. Last year, the event attracted over 650 guests and raised over $230,000 in support of City Harvest. The event will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion and will feature a special musical performance by Howie Day. Some of the participating restaurants and beverage stations include Pig & Khao, Booker and Dax, Momofuku Ssäm Bar, and Ardesia Wine Bar. For a full list of participants, click here.
