Move over Chipotle, there’s a new healthy spot in town that’s destined to take over. Two Forks, a new fast casual eatery right outside of Bryant Park, brings a healthy twist to typically calorie heavy, Southern fare. The restaurant features slow cooked, pulled meats and let me tell you, it’s yummy.

Customers can opt for either a bun or a bowl, with signature options complete with meats, slaws, and sauce, but of course, you can build your own, as well.  We tried the popular Pork & Pickles bowl, which was comprised of pulled pork, Korean chili sauce, brussels and kimchi slaw. It was the perfect blend of flavors, with the slaw balancing out the subtle spiciness of the sauce and packed with perfectly tender meat. Other options include Hot Chick, made with pulled chicken, harissa buffalo sauce, carrot, celery root, parsnip, and blue cheese slaw, and their veggie option Squash Goals, made with pulled spaghetti squash, tzatzki sauce, butternut squash, carrot, apple, cranberry and goat cheese slaw.

I have no doubt that Two Forks locations will be popping up all over the city. I suggest you go find out why!
