Whenever City Harvest throws a party, we want to be there. The organization, which provides food for hungry New Yorkers, brings people together for their fundraising events, which are naturally centered around food. This year marked their 13th annual Summer in the City tasting event, which took place earlier this week at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The event played host to over 700 guests, and through ticket sales, a raffle and silent auction, the charity raised $340,000, which is enough to feed over 200,000 hungry New Yorkers for an entire week!

The event included over 40 of New York City’s top restaurants, each dishing out some high class grub, as well as specialty cocktails, wine and beer. Additionally, there was a fun carnival section where guests could try their hand at games such as ring toss and darts, get their photo taken, and more. The evening also featured a special musical performance by Misterwives.

Stand out cuisine included Double Smoked Beef Brisket from Butcher Bar, Lavender Lemon Cupcakes from Butter and Scotch, Cascabel Chili BBQ Glazed Ribs from Stanton Social, Jumbo Lump Crabmeat with Green Goddess Dressing and American Caviar from Regency Bar and Grill, an assortment of doughnuts from Doughnuttery, and so much more.
