Get Real Beer Week kicks off today at Katch Brewery & Grill in Astoria, Queens with Mystery Tap Night! This fun restaurant, as we all know from the last review, has fantastic food, fun cocktails, and the largest selection of tap beers, which makes this “Beer lovers” central tonight!
All you draft beer lovers better head on down to Katch tonight to taste some unbelievable brews, talk beer with some great folks, and even win brew knowledge and bragging rights at this one of a kind sports bar! Contestants will be able to taste five selected beers and win prizes and participate in a drawing for more Get Real events. Either way, win or loose, you still get to enjoy all your pints and enjoy the lively atmosphere if this fun Queens bar. For $12 at the door, it’s a steal!
Now, for those of you who want to go tonight, but can’t, or simply want more fun, Get Real has you covered! This weekend, September 27th and 28th, Get Real and Oyster Week present Oystoberfest where you can sample all you can eat oysters and “all you can sample” of Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ales. There will be chances to sample on September 27th from 7-10PM and on September 28th from 12-3PM and 5-8PM.
