An innovative concept, Caravan Stylist Studio is an intimate spot that pairs celebrities, tastemakers and media influencers with top fashion designers and beauty experts, ensuring a top notch look. The studio, located on the first floor of the Carlton Hotel in New York City, partners up each year with a selection of different brands to both educate and glam up their customers. On a weekly basis, the studio dresses and styles actors and musicians for red carpet premieres, photo shoots, television appearances and more.
Caravan’s full list of services includes clothing and accessories styling, hair styling, makeup application, mini skincare-spa treatments and nail design. Manhattan with a Twist had the opportunity to get glammed up for a night out at Whiskey Live last week, and we experienced top tier service! Upon arrival, you are greeted with a selection of refreshments, including Volvic, Belvoir Fruit Farms, Infusion Iced Tea, and Lamarca Prosecco, as well as Luna Bars. We started off with a lovely manicure using Color Club Nail Polish. The line has tons of different colors to choose from, and we opted for something a little more exciting than usual. We layered one of Color Club’s holographic Halo Hues (Blue Heaven), which has unparalleled sparkle, glimmer and shine, with Surprise, comprised of big, confetti-like sequins. These colors really popped together and definitely made one sparkly statement. Plus, we discovered that Color Club polish lasts longer than average!
Next up, it was time to get our hair looking ship shape. Using Not Your Mother’s products to curl and style my hair, including Girl Powder to add volume to my thin hair, my stylist had me looking glam in no time. Not to mention, my mane maintained its curls all night long, a rare feat, indeed! Before my makeup makeover, I cleansed my skin with Foreo Luna (my new obsession), a product that completely one ups Clarisonic with their exfoliating, anti-aging and bacteria-resistant silicone cleansing device. Along with the Foreo Luna, I used Lift Lab cleanser to remove my makeup and clean my skin. After that I was all set to get my face painted and it came out amazing, with a stunning gold smokey eye.
