Even though Los Angeles is home to music’s biggest night, New York hosts some of the hottest Grammys viewing parties of the season. Located in the heart of Times Square, people filled the historic Liberty Theater as Grey Goose Vodka and Stadiumred presented The New York VIP Grammy Awards Party hosted by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and actress Emily Ratajkowski.
As guests entered the turn of the century theater, they were ready for a night of music, dancing and signature Grey Goose drinks and passed food from Kristalbelli. Choosing from the Grey Goose Le Fizz or the Le Melon Mule, attendees couldn’t resist giving both a try. The Le Melon Mule, which mixed with Grey Goose Le Melon and Ginger Beer, was the perfect cocktail to sit back and watch the award show.
Attendees in the VIP section were delighted with another drink option, the Martini Exceptionnelle. Taking a twist on the traditional martini, it is served in a chilled martini cocktail glass first rinsed with Absinthe, then finished with a spritz of honey water and garnished with frozen grapes.
Guest were able to watch the Grammys on a giant screen tv that was centered in the theater. From Sam Smith’s performance to Madonna rocking on stage and Kayne being Kayne, people felt they were in Los Angeles, not New York.
Throughout the party there were numerous performances between commercial breaks, including YouTube stars and country duo Megan and Liz, Patent Pending, Jeremy Carr and British singer Greg Holden. Performing his new single Hold on Tight, Holden rocked the crowd with his set. As the Grammys ended, the party just began as DJ Rick Wonder and Kitty & Coug played some of the latest award winning hits.
Any Grammys party would not be complete without a little dessert and some giveaways. New York cupcake staple, Baked By Melissa, served their mini cupcakes in a unique style with gold, chocolate and vanilla frosting spelling out the word “Grammys.” Capturing a revolutionary way of creating headphones, Normal offered complimentary and discounts off their 3D printed products. Whether people were in Los Angeles or partying with Grey Goose and Stadiumred, the Grammys was a night of music and fun.
