French bistro, Bagatelle, will be hosting an epic Bastille Day brunch from 11:30am until 6pm, with music by DJ Stan Courtois. Nosh on favorites such as goat cheese and tomato confit, lobster omelets, gnocchi, and more. Additionally, the brick streets of the Meatpacking District will bring you back to the quaint streets in France.
Join iAdventure.com on their annual Bastille Day Wine Crawl. Ticket prices start at $40 and include stationed appetizers at registration, along with five glasses of wine and a baguette. The crawl will begin at SideBar at 1pm and last until 5pm. Hop along to some of the city’s funnest watering holes, including Village Pourhouse, Bar None, The Royal, Murray Bar 34th and more. Who says you have to be French to join in on the fun?
Chef Daniel Boulud is sending diners on a culinary tour of his NYC restaurants during the 100th anniversary of ‘Le Tour’ with his Tour de Boulud. Available until July 21st, the Tour de Boulud passport can be picked up at any Boulud restaurant and includes a complimentary cocktail pairing with the purchase of dessert at Cafe Boulud, a complimentary glass of Gotham Project ‘Schneider & Beiler’ Rose with the purchase of an entree at Bar Boulud and Boulud Sud, a complimentary scoop of gelato at Epicerie Boulud with a $15 purchase, and a complimentary carafe of featured craft beer with the purchase of two entrees at DBGB Kitchen and Bar.
Think a little bit outside the box and work up a sweat for Bastille Day. The James New York has added state of the art Tour de France stationary cycling bikes to its Urban Athlete program for its guests. For a limited time, until July 21st, the Proform bikes will be available outdoors in The Garden.
Finally, if you want to enjoy Bastille Day from the confines of your home, here is a great cocktail you can whip up with Lillet and embody the French culture.
