If there’s one spot I wish was in my neighborhood, it’s e’s Bar on the Upper West Side (why so far??). You may remember that the beloved bar closed due to a fire back in February, but luckily it’s back and better than ever. So what makes this bar different from the others? Its nostalgic vibes make it a fun, laid-back spot to have fun with friends – complete with tons, and I mean TONS of games, from classics like Shoots and Ladders and Jenga to more obscure games like Hedbanz and Exploding Kittens. Perfect for when the conversation gets stale.
And now, in addition to their regular menu (featuring burgers, tacos, steak frites & more), they are serving all day breakfast, which is ideal for those pesky hangovers. Options include Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Tacos and Breakfast Burritos, each of them served in very hearty portions.
Each dish was delicious, so it’s hard to choose a favorite but the tacos were definitely a contender. Paired with a breakfast cocktail, it made for the perfect afternoon. But those who want to stop by later in the day need not worry — the games, food, drinks and music (mostly old school rock) will keep you entertained ’til the wee hours of the night. Now if only they’d open a second location in Midtown East, I’d be one happy camper.
