Have you ever gotten so caught up in shopping that you completely forget to eat?
That doesn’t happen to us too often, but if you’re one of those people who “forgets to eat,” the restaurant at Tommy Bahama is the perfect excuse to check out and take a load off. The wide open dining room boasts clean white walls and gorgeous wood paneling, and the palm trees peeking behind every corner really set the ambiance for summer. This fits right in with the flowery Palm Beach vibe of the Tommy Bahama retail showroom downstairs. It’s a perfect chance to order up some guacamole, sip on a freshly mixed mojito, buy your dad a Father’s Day gift, and catch up with your bad self.
With a menu that matches its décor, Tommy Bahama kicked off its favorite season last week with a post-Memorial Day bash, primarily to promote the vast quantities of white clothing in its repertoire. Special emphasis was placed on beachwear, swim wear, and pool side accessories, as was the quantity of available rum cocktails crafted right alongside a very lifelike mannequin. (Bonus: the more you drink, the more confused you will be that it is not an actual man lounging poolside!)
Tommy’s house-made Mai Tai’s and friendly staff will be sure to put a smile on your face no matter the weather, which on this particular evening was less than desirable, and make you feel like embarked on a mini-vacation right in midtown.
