Epic is the word that describes the release of Lady Gaga’s new single, G.U.Y. It’s her third single from the album ARTPOP and she decided to celebrate.
New York’s first and only urban resort, OUT NYC transformed for the first two weeks of April into the G.U.Y Hotel, including a stunning exhibit giving fans of Lady Gaga unprecedented access to costumes, props, art and more from the multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning artist’s video G.U.Y. The iconic video was filmed on location at Hearst Castle in Northern California. Lady Gaga wrote the treatment and directed the video herself. There are also a few familiar faces making appearances in the video.
And if that’s not enough, Lady Gaga also kicked off her artRave: the ARTPOP ball tour right here in New York at the legendary Roseland Ballroom. The demand for Gaga was so high she did six sold out shows at the Roseland. The sixth show was the last at Roseland prior to the demolition of the historic concert hall.
We all know Lady Gaga doesn’t do small. For information on her artRave tour, visit www.ladygaga.com.
