Apple cider, pumpkin pie, whisky. Let’s face it—some things just taste better in autumn. There couldn’t be a better time, then, for the team behind Laphroaig single malt to host Laphroaig Live — a live stream online whisky tasting happening on Thursday, September 26, from our very own Brooklyn.

Whisky fans everywhere can tune in at 8pm EST to www.laphroaig.com/live to catch Laphroaig Master Distiller John Campbell, Bourbon Ambassador Adam Harris, renowned Mixologist and Founder of Ward III Michael Neff, spirit enthusiast and GQ Web Editor Kevin Sintumuang, and Master Ambassador for Laphroaig Simon Brooking, as they sample four whisky expressions: Laphroaig Quarter Cask, Laphroaig QA, Maker’s Mark 46 and Laphroaig’s newest addition, Laphroaig Cairdeas 2013.

The show will be broadcast from an original Hudson River Barge, a historical and appropriate setting for the panelists’ conversation about Laphroaig’s long-running ties with America. Furthermore, members of Friends of Laphroaig will be provided special access to discuss all things whisky and share tasting notes during the show.

To join the conversation, submit questions or get the tasting’s cocktail recipes, you can check out their Facebook, or follow Laphroaig on Twitter: @LaphroaigUSA.
