1. What’s the best book you’ve read recently?
I am such a huge bookworm, so this is a tough question. I haven’t read any books that really stuck with in me in a while, but recently I read Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness, by Susannah Cahalan, which was brilliant.
2. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
‘Don’t sweat the small stuff.’
3. What makes you laugh the hardest?
Probably myself, and of course, my friends and family. They are ridiculous.
4. Why did you start blogging?
I had been freelancing for multiple sites for a few years and decided it was time to branch out on my own! I wanted to give people in NYC a unique perspective on all there is to do here that you might not necessarily know about.
5. What’s your favorite thing about where you live (and where do you live)?
New York City! There’s always something going on and you never get bored living here.
6. What one item will you be purchasing for this Autumn/Fall?
Just one? A black leather jacket and some booties.
7. What’s your favorite style or medium of art?
I think anything interactive is really fun, but recently I’ve seen quite a few artists using light as a medium, which is really unique.
8. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
I can’t choose – they’ve all been great!
9. What’s your biggest pet peeve?
People in my personal bubble.
10. What’s the beauty product you can’t live without?
Concealer! I loved Salon Mila‘s concealer, but they no longer make it. Now I use Benefit.
