Brazilian born Alessandra Meskita is the designer behind the self-named brand Meskita, which showed as part of Style 360’s New York Fashion Week. Having been artistic from the get go, Alessandra is a self-taught designer and brought her swimwear collection to this year’s Fashion Week. Alessandra’s collection was inspired by the Brazilian deity, Yemanja, saint, fighter, mother and queen. The collection is comprised of sexy bikinis and monokinis, as well as chic beach coverups, that can be taken straight from the beach out to dinner. There were some stunning crochet pieces in the collection, as well as amazing crop top cover ups. Alessandra’s strength lies in her fabulous color choices, from deep plums to metallic blues — women wearing these items will surely stand out in the best way possible.
