The Caravan Stylist Studio Fashion Week Soiree, which was held in the penthouse at the Carlton Hotel, did not disappoint guests. Along  with Kusmi Tea cocktails and Ice Cream Cellars wine tastings, guests were able to participate in some jewelry making. M&J Trimming’s Project DIY allows customers to create personalized jewelry via a subscription box service that will send a package of goodies to create a variety of fashion accessories. Each box comes with three projects, along with materials and easy-to-use instructions. The boxes run for $30 a month and partiers at this weekend’s event enjoyed partaking in Project DIY. Head jewelry designer Michelle Levy was on hand to talk to guests about the new boxes and help in the creation of their jewelry. Also in attendance at the event were a handful of notables from hit series Orange is the New Black and Boardwalk Empire and Taryn Manning spun at the DJ booth. You won’t believe all of the gorgeous accessories you can make with Project DIY! Check out some of September’s items and don’t forget to sign up for your subscription box!
