Last week we joined Flatt, a philanthropic arts platform, as it celebrated its 6th book release featuring Robert De Niro on the cover. Flattprize residency winner, Fabrizio Arrieta, a talented Costa Rican painter was selected for a six month residency at The National Arts Club, which was where the party took place. Over 400 art and fashion enthusiasts joined the celebration, including big names such as Matthew Modine, Andrej Pejic, Maggie Norris, Morgan O’Connor, and Nur Khan. The evening was a huge success, thanks to wonderful entertainment by DJs Questlove, Elle Dee and Timo Weiland. The partygoers were also wowed by an incredible 4D live music performance by Australian band goodbyemotel. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed cocktails by Purity Vodka, Coffee of Rwanda and wine and hors d’oeuvres.
For those of you not familiar with Flatt, its a platform that both sponsors and celebrates creativity in the form of art, film, dance, music, writing, performance and science. It releases a quarterly print book, featuring top artists in various fields. The annual Flattprize is awarded to a talented and creative individual and this year Arrieta pulled out on top.
