Acclaimed champagne brand Piper-Heidsieck, which hails from France, is not only one of the world’s most awarded champagnes, but this year, the brand celebrates winemaker Régis Camus‘ 20th anniversary with the company. As Piper-Heidsieck’s Chef de Cave, Camus oversees the winemaking process and has continued to both maintain and enhance the quality and excellence of the renowned wines produced by the company. Since joining the company back in 1994, Camus has taken great care to produce a champagne that has consistently been winning awards worldwide.

With such remarkable accolades attached to his name, it’s no wonder that the famed brand decided to celebrate the star with an intimate champagne reception in New York City, which was held at Lightbox Studios. The evening played host to a handful of VIPs, including Régis Camus himself, while attendees sipped on some the esteemed champagne. The party came to peak when the man himself spoke to the crowd about winemaking, as well as the creation of his vintage champagne. To really get the party going, guests were treated to an outstanding extra large magnum bottle of champagne (equivalent to 20 standard bottles of wine), which featured vintage blends from 1996, 1998, 1999, 2004 and 2006. Tasting the champagne was a one-of-a-kind experience and toasting to the man who made it all possible made it all the more merry.
