Hey Mambo on the Upper West Side is the place to be for late night parties with a fun theme! These monthly Rendezvous kicked off on August 10th with a Roaring 20’s theme. For $40, these events include hors d ‘oeuvres, well drinks, specialty cocktails, and wine. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for $50. Each month will play host to a different theme and take place from 9pm until midnight. There will be fun giveaways, such as gift certificates to Hey Mambo and live entertainment.
Tuvia Feldman, a world traveler, enjoys the finer things in life, quality, style, and sophistication. He brings these beliefs into his restaurant where you will notice some of the finest quality dishes, exquisite décor, and a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant is inspired by an Oriental train car from the 20’s; very fitting for their first of many Rendezvous.
Chef Moussa Thiam was key in opening this restaurant and is bringing French influence to Hey Mambo’s inspiring cuisine. The menu offers a selection of quality crudos such a Sushi Grade Swordfish Belly and Sliced Fluke with Soy Rice Vinegar. With dishes like Short Ribs, Warm Leeks and Bresaola, and Cous Cous Royale, you will want to make this your monthly place to be.
Blake Poon, the house mixologist, adds creative flare to the cocktails at this restaurant by introducing Rose Petals and Candied Ginger into the drinks. For brunch, they offer interesting coffee cocktails — Spiced Rum Cappuccino, and even a Peaches and Cream Latte.
You will never be disappointed at Hey Mambo and should check out their brunch, lunch, or dinner menus. Tea Time will also be offered from 4-6pm if you’re in the mood for some of the best tea and a different kind of happy hour.
Hey Mambo is located at 487 Amsterdam Avenue.
