Repping the Home Team Never Looked So Good

Some days I really wish I were back in college…the parties were great, the classes were good, and the fashion…well, the fashion wasn’t always top notch. Sure, I rocked my college sweatpants from time to time, but if I wanted to cheer on any teams in fashionable college gear, I was at an impasse. That is why I’m so excited to learn about a newly launched line of fashionable, unique and trendy collegiate sneakers called Skicks.

The sporty line features officially licensed high top and low top sneakers that include each university’s logo and mascot, with a playful design. While you were all slacking at school, struggling to pass your classes, Jordana Schrager, creator of Skicks and University of Michigan student, was busy building her own company. The young entrepreneur began by doodling on a pair of shoes to represent her school spirit, and after many compliments and requests for more, Skicks was born.

The unisex shoes appeal to any student, fan or alumni wanting to show off their support. Each school has different designs to choose from and retail between $59.99 and $69.99. The collection launched with eleven schools’ designs, with more to roll out every month. Skicks are available for purchase as college campuses, fan shops and select retailers, as well as online. Keeping my fingers crossed that they launch my college’s sneaks soon!
