For all you beauty mavens looking for something exciting and new to add to your collection of products, check out Rituals Home and Body Cosmetics, the first and only home and body cosmetics line originally from the Netherlands. The brand just launched in the U.S., exclusively at Barney’s. Rituals is well known in Europe as the fastest growing beauty brand of its kind and with its introduction to the states, we know it will continue to grow! In addition to selling at Barney’s, Rituals will also open two storefront locations in New York City later this year — one in SoHo and one on the Upper West Side.
Each collection from Rituals combines authentic Eastern traditions with modern technology and fragrances, such as the holistic philosophy of the Ayurveda collection, the chinese ideology of harmony in the Tao collection and more. We were able to try out the Laughing Buddha collection, which was inspired by the ancient Chinese Laughing Buddha and is designed to awaken your senses and create positive energy. We loved the aromas of these products and how silky smooth it left our skin! Our favorite product was the Good Luck Scrub, which combines organic sugar and softening oils to exfoliate the skin. Natural ingredients sweet orange and cedar leave a wonderful lingering smell. Follow this with the Happy Buddha foaming shower gel. This unique gel to foam technology works as a great body wash, but can also be used as shaving cream. This foam utilizes scents of mandarin and yuzu. We also loved the Touch of Happiness body cream, perfect to keep your skin glowing after your shower. With the same scents as the scrub, this lotion not only smells delightful, but also strengthens and nourishes the skin. It also contains antioxidants, Vitamin E and Centella Asiatica, making your skin healthier. After just one use of these three products and you can feel the difference in your skin.
