Thrillist is all about the party frills n’ thrills (duh) and just to prove it, they hosted their 3rd annual Best Day of Your Life this past Saturday, which celebrated the longest day of the year. The epic event took place on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where over 800 guests partook in a food and bar crawl, complete with entertainment, photos ops, and even Zach Braff!
The day-long event featured over twenty fun-filled stops, where guests could indulge in a whole array of edibles and drinkables. Lucky Jack’s went for a morning theme with a full cereal bar, Saturday morning cartoons, classic theme songs, and cereal martinis handed out by Popeye and Papa Smurf. Cinnamax, aka cinnamon ice cream and snickerdoodle cookie sandwiches, were the item of the day for Melt Bakery, which were handed out while an acapella group presented by Kia Soul sang to the customers. Attendees enjoyed ‘Sons of Essex Sliders’ and Corona Extra at The Delancey, while a sand castle article constructed a themed sand castle and played cornhole.
Other highlights included a re-creation of Ray’s loft from Showtimes Ray Donavan at the Thierry-Goldberg Gallery, along with lobster rolls, beer, whiskey, cigars and a JackThreads closet giveaway sweeps, arcade games and magicians at Two Bit Retro, Samsung’s ‘Museum of Instagrammable Moments,’ and so much more. The after party was kicked off with a special performance by DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore. If this sounds like a day to remember, make sure to get your spot for the next Thrillist event!
