The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards - GRAMMY Gift Lounge - Day 2

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a celebrity? Well, we got our chance to see what it’s like to be backstage at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards this past weekend. Distinctive Assets, the LA-based entertainment marketing company produced the official talent gift bags and backstage gift lounge for the show, which is open to the presenters and performers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Grammy Gift Lounge presented by MTG was open during three days of rehearsals prior to the awards show. In the lounge, celebrities were able to walk around, learn all about the amazing brands that were on display, and walk away with a goody bag featuring more swag than you can imagine. Top names such as LL Cool J, Ashanti, Christina Milian, Mario, Chili and Jermaine Dupri all made appearances at the backstage lounge. Below are some of our favorite products that went home in the hands of these celebrities.

The gift lounge sponsor MTG, which is Japan’s leading beauty company, had quite an array of products on display. Intriguing gizmos and gadgets adorned the walls, each more futuristic than the next. This year, talent received the Inbeaute Finger Head Spa, which is product designed for scalp care with vibration to sooth and comfort. Other products on display included the ReFa Roller Series, which are a set of products designed to tighten the skin, whether it be your jawline, cheek bones, undereyes, or various places on your body, as well as the Jackson Walk Jet, which are unique sandals designed to strengthen your calf muscles.

You might know New Era as the famous international sportswear brand known for their 59Fifty fitted caps — if you’re a fan of any MLB or NBA teams, you probably own one of their hats. They set up shop backstage at the gift lounge with some of their fashionable headwear. From custom Grammys baseball caps to printed fedoras and knits, celebs could take their pick of the litter. What did most of the celebrities end up going home with, you ask? They couldn’t get enough of the fedoras! (Don’t worry, plenty of Yankees hats were snapped up, too.)

For celebrities with children, Wowwee most likely blew them away. The company is known for their hi-tech robotic and entertainment products and they sure didn’t disappoint. On display was the MiPosaur (launching May 2015), an intelligent robotic dinosaur that can sense its surroundings and interact with them in a unique way. Equipped with a GestureSense technology, the robot can be controlled with the swipe of a hand, and even comes with an interactive TrackBall, which can be used as a play toy for the robot. They sure made me want to be a kid again!

Celebrities are always trying the next new fad diet, so it was no surprise that one of the brands on display was Tisanoreica, an Italian comfort food diet. What sets this brand apart from the rest, is well, everything. The low-carb, high protein diet utilizes patented herbal extracts to control the appetite and stimulate the metabolism. Best of all, the diet includes foods you love, such as pasta, pizza, sauce, breadsticks and more. This results in never feeling deprived and always having energy. We couldn’t believe how awesome this sounds.

Other clothing items being featured included their Sky is the Limit Pullover, Dream Big t-shirt, and even a limited edition nylon duffle bag. Celebrities left with more swag than they came in with!
