Their debut collection for Spring 2014 utilizes chic color blocking and geometric shapes for a classic, chic look.
The company, which was founded in 2013, uses a multitude of textures and fabrics to create bold, statement handbags that are both versatile and functional. Blacksea was named after the childhood home of the creative director of the company, drawing inspiration from the Black Sea (duh) and nautical influences, which can be seen in many of the colors utilized in the collection (think sand and blue tones). The great appeal of this collection is its ability to be both bold, yet understated at the same time, lending appeal to any glamour girl about town. Furthermore, unlike most trends, we believe that the handbags in this first Blacksea collection will remain timeless.
