Artisanal bakery Maison Kayser decided to add an Irish twist to a classic French dessert for the big holiday. For St. Patrick’s Day, the bakery will be serving up Guinness Éclairs, pates a choux filled with Guinness pastry cream and topped with vanilla icing, with a green almond paste clover leaf. This tasty treat combines a classic Irish brew into a dessert everyone loves. The dessert special will be available from March 16-18 and April 6-8 for just $4.75.
Popular cookie hot spot, Schmackary’s, will be offering up two delicious Irish-inspired creations for just $2.75 each. Their Lucky Charmed cookie is comprised of a sugar cookie topped with marshmallow frosting and sprinkled with marshmallows. The Dirty Leprechaun cookie is a dark cocoa cookie filled with green mint chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Known for its eccentric ice cream flavors, OddFellows Ice Cream is getting on board with the Irish theme just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Three boozy flavors will be available starting March 11th until the end of April for $10. Dead Rabbit Irish Coffee ice cream, made with Clontarf 1014 Irish Whiskey, Knappogue Castle 12yr single malt Irish Whiskey ice cream and Little Boo Boo Bakery burnt Knappogue Castle 12yr marshmallow ice cream are the three flavors in the ice cream trio.
