These days there is an app for everything. You need to do something through your phone? You name it, it’s there.  If you need to save time by having food delivered to your door there’s Seamless, or if you’re bored and want to pass the time, you can spend it texting friends, playing games, or check out all the latest news. So what about for those of us that like to get our drink on? Thirstie is a brand new app that delivers liquor right to your door! Think of it as the Grubhub of alcohol.

Thirstie allows you to shop for your favorite wines and spirits and have them delivered right to your door. As of now Thirstie is operating in most of Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn, unfortunately it is still not operating in the Bronx; but once they do you can be sure that I will be using it. The app is very convenient, especially for people that are having big parties and need to cut some time on preparations. You can order and be assured that the liquor will arrive at your door. When it is delivered you have to show ID to the delivery person.

You can download the app by searching for Thirstie on your phone’s app store and you can start shopping right away. All you have to do is enter your address to see if they are currently delivering to your area. If they don’t deliver to your area you can sign up so that you receive a notification when they do start to deliver to your area. If they deliver to your area, you are then given a list of wines and liquors that you can choose from. Thirstie works with local stores to get you the liquor that you need. There is no fee to use Thirstie but some local stores do require a delivery minimum. So once you have chosen what you want to buy you can check out and just wait for your liquor.

For more information on how this app works you can visit www.thirstie.com and make sure to download the app!
