Earlier this week, Vago celebrated its one year anniversary. The Mediterranean restaurant, located in Murray Hill, gives locals a nice dining option among bro-ier joints nearby. The restaurant has white brick walls adorned with artwork that looks like windows looking out over beautiful landscapes. The European-inspired menu features meat, seafood and pasta entrees and guests at the first year anniversary party were able to try a sampling of some of the restaurant’s most beloved dishes.
Oysters Rockefeller, meatballs, crab cakes and prosciutto-wrapped shrimp were among some of the hors d’oeuvres served. And if these small bites were any indication of what we can come to expect of the restaurant’s quality, we certainly can’t wait to come back for a full meal. Additionally, a giant cheese wheel was served as the base of a truffle risotto dish, and party-goers capped off their evening with delectable tiramisu martinis.
Vago is open for brunch, lunch and dinner daily. For more information, head to their website!
