The best way to spread Christmas cheer…is by feeding your growling bellies! Christmas is a time to relax and de-stress so instead of cooking for the family, have someone cook for yours. Here are some of the hottest restaurants in New York City serving up Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feasts:
Clement Restaurant & Bar – Available both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Clement’s four-course dinner menu will have a variety of hearty options and diners will be able to enjoy Victorian carolers, live jazz and visits from Peter Bear and Santa to make the evening memorable. Additionally, diners have the opportunity to give back by supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation by snapping a photo with the snowman at The Peninsula and share it with #SnowPage for a donation to made to the charity! Dinner will be served on Christmas Eve from 5:30-8pm and on Christmas Day from 11:30am to 3:30pm and 5-8pm and costs $155 per person, or $75 for children 12 and under.
Duet Brasserie – The new West Village restaurant is celebrating Christmas with a $75 three course prix fixe dinner with options such as roasted duck, lobster bisque and chocolate souffle and more. Dinner will be available from 5-11pm.
212 Steakhouse – The well-known steakhouse is serving dinner Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with surf and turf prix fixe menus, with tasty items such as Maine lobster, duck confit, roast monkfish and slow cooked veal cheeks. The restaurant will be open starting at 5pm both nights.
Church Street Tavern – This Tribeca restaurant will be offering a festive prix fixe menu on Christmas Eve for $160 (priced for 4), including items like beef royale, seared foie gras, pomme boulangere and more, as well as an option to add a bottle of Ferrari Brut Rose ($225).
Burke & Wills – The Australian restaurant and bistro will be open for Christmas Eve with a special three course prix fixe dinner (plus amuse), with dishes such as smoked arctic char, butter poached lobster, chestnut ravioli, and olive oil cake. The menu is available for $60 per person and will be available all evening. Additionally, happy hour will also be served at the bar all night, along with spiked eggnog and tunes by a DJ.
Tavola – This Italian restaurant will host a fittingly Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner on Christmas Eve. For $57 per person, diners will enjoy a hearty feast, including items like mussels salsa verde, baked clams oreganata, swordfish steak, spaghettini scungilli fra diavolo, among plenty others. Dinner will be served from 5-11pm and the restaurant’s regular menu will also be available.
Sons of Essex – This New York City hot spot will host its second annual Chinese-themed Christmas Eve menu, with dishes such as veggie spring rolls, sticky rice and general tso’s crispy chicken. The dinner will be available from 6-11pm.
Fresco by Scotto – Enjoy the Feast of the Seven Fishes with Fresco by Scotto’s Christmas Eve prix fixe menu for $80 per person ($45 per child). Standout dishes includes grilled pizza margherita, spiced yellowfin tuna, Scottish salmon and apple crisp.
The Lambs Club – On Christmas Day you can head into The Lambs Club to enjoy their holiday carolers brunch, available for $68 per person or $35 per child.
Olio e Piu – This West Village Italian restaurant will have a delicious Christmas menu for $25 per person, with dishes such as roasted turkey roulade and more.
Paulaner – This Bavarian joint is offering a holiday prix fixe menu on Christmas Eve from 1-8pm for $75, with tasty tidbits like smoked trout consomme, roasted goose, and mixed holiday cookies.
Villagio on the Park – This beautiful and elegant restaurant, complete with stunning views will be featuring traditional dishes on their Christmas menu.
T-Bar Steak and Lounge – This Upper East Side spot is offering an a la carte meal on Christmas Eve from 5-7:30pm and Christmas Day from 3-8pm.
Amaranth – This bistro will be open for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, providing guests with a fine dining experience, as well as entertainment. The restaurant will be open from 12-10pm with their regular a la carte menu.
Ivy Bar & Grill – This Hell’s Kitchen spot will be open on Christmas Day, serving traditional specials, as well as their regular menu.
Swifty’s – Christmas Eve will feature an a la carte menu along with specials such as cassoulet, loin of venison and ossobuco.
Haldi Restaurant – Get out of your comfort zone by enjoying Indian food this holiday, with dishes like Memsaab lamb Rizzala, as well as additional specials. The restaurant will be open both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 11am until 9pm.
Wallsé – The Austrian restaurant will be offering a four course menu on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for $140 per person, $70 per child and $125 per person for a champagne flight. The restaurant will be open from 5:30-11pm.
Blaue Gans – Diners can enjoy a special three course feast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for $90 per person or $45 per child. On Christmas Eve, guests will receive an ornament upon arrival to decorate the restaurant’s tree with. Blaue Gans will be open on the 24th from 5-10pm and on the 25th from 12-9pm.
Sushisamba – On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the cultural restaurant will offer an a la carte menu from 11:45am until 1am, as well as a special Christmas cocktail.
Il Principe – The restaurant will be offering an authentic Italian three course Christmas Eve menu for $75 per person.
Louro – On Christmas Eve, the restaurant will host a Feast of the Seven Fishes, with standout dishes such as piri piri shrimp, seafood fritters, lobster fra diavolo, uni crudo and more for $85. Additionally, a three-course Christmas Eve dinner menu will also be available for $55. The restaurant will be open from 5:30-11pm.
